Tokyo International Music Market (TIMM) is an international conference event that brings together music industry professionals from Japan and abroad for the purpose of promoting Japanese music to the world. This year's event will be a hybrid format, combining the Shibuya venue with the online business matching website "TIMM ONLINE.

The "TIMM Business Seminar in Summer Sonic 2022" will be held as a special event of TIMM's highly acclaimed business seminar program at the Summer Sonic 2022, one of the largest music festivals in Japan, and streamed online.

This seminar will be held in conjunction with Summer Sonic 2022 and the "Music Loves Art in Summer Sonic 2022," a large-scale art exhibition to be held at the festival's Tokyo venue. The seminar will be a change of perspective from TIMM's previous business seminars, and will include art, culture and the related themes of them.

To attend the seminars at the venue, it is necessary to have an admission pass only for limited people who is music professionals and the others will be able to be viewed free on "TIMM ONLINE" and JMCE's official YouTube channel.

In addition, the three seminars announced today will be available to the general public on the official JMCE YouTube channel.

The second announcement of the seminars will be made at a later date, and the latest information will be posted on the official TIMM website.

Summary: The music cover jackets and artworks, such as record jackets, which appealed to the visual sense and communicated the appeal of music, is one element that has driven the market as much as music, in the course of the development of the music industry. Today, with the diversification of media, artwork is becoming increasingly important as a communication point with fans and as a means of presenting an artist's worldview. With the emergence of next generation technologies such as NFT, how will artwork/visual expression change in 2020 and beyond? What kind of visual expression of entertainment will emerge?
