Born in 1958.A singer-songwriter from Hokkaido.
Debuted in 1982 as the band "ANZENCHITAI".Dominates the 80's music scene such as "ワインレッドの心(Red Wine Heart)", "恋の予感(Koi no Yokan)", and "悲しみにさよなら(Kanashimi ni Sayonara)". He started writing lyrics as a solo artist, and produced many hits such as "田園(Denen)” and ”Melody".In 2012, his own original label "SALT MODERATE" was launched. In 2014, while performing solo activities in parallel with ANZENCHITAI, the original solo album "GOLD" for the first time in 7 years, and the album "Gunzo no Hoshi" singing the masterpieces of artists who shared the same era was released. In 2015 and 2016, a Billboard Classics performance was held with major orchestras in Japan and overseas. In June 2016, he presented the orchestra work "Song of Delight" to the Balkan Special Symphony Orchestra. In 2017, the double anniversary year of the 30th anniversary of solo debut and the 35th anniversary of ANXENCHITAI debut, the 35th anniversary live of ANZENCHITAI held at Nippon Budokan recorded  with 25,000 people in two days. In 2018 and 2019, he is energetically active with orchestra performances and solo tours. In November 2019, the stadium live "ANZENCHITAI in Koshien Stadium Goodbye Game" was held for the first time in about 30 years as ANZENCHITAI with 38,000 people and impressing the audience with overwhelming vocal power. On New Year's Eve 2020, Tamaki appeared in the 71st NHK 紅白歌合戦  “Kohaku Uta Gassen” (“Red and White Song Battle”) for the first time in 24 years.
