The 20th Tokyo International Music Market（20th TIMM）
～3 DAYS from October 25 to 27, 2023 at TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER, TOKYO～
Tokyo International Music Market (TIMM) is a B-to-B convention that brings together professionals of the music industry from Japan and abroad with the common goal of taking Japanese music overseas. Considering the various influences of COVID-19, 17th, 18th, and 19th TIMM were held mainly in online platform called TIMM ONLINE and at where, we offered the same menu as TIMM’s offline event such as business meeting & networking, business seminars and showcase live.
This year, TIMM celebrates its 20th anniversary and we are delighted to announce that TIMM will be held in Tokyo as a full-fledged in-person event for the first time in four years.
The venue of 20th TIMM is “TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER” which just has been opened in this spring at Kabukicho of Shinjuku ward. We are excited to offer TIMM’s various programs such as business meeting, networking, business seminars and showcase live to everyone in Shinjuku which is known as an entertainment district like Shibuya, where TIMM was held over a long time.
The details of business seminars and showcase live will be announced on TIMM official website at a later date. And any changes related to the event will be also announced on TIMM official website.

＜TIMM in TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER＞
Business meeting & networking and business seminars will be taken place at TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER.
Distinct booths will be set up exclusively for each exhibitor, so that business meeting & networking can be held freely at your own booth. Also, the exhibitor will be provided with the entrance pass (quantity varies depends on the plan) which allow the participation of business seminars.
The exhibition plan and exhibition information session schedule will be announced at a later date.
・Those without a “Exhibitor” pass or “International buyer” pass may attend business seminars as a “Visitor”. Visitors need to purchase a pre-registration one-day pass. More details will be announced on TIMM official website at a later date.
・For press registration, it is necessary to register in advance and receive a “Media” pass on the day. Details will be announced on the TIMM site at a later date.
・In 2019, approximately 200 International buyers participated in 16th TIMM (in-person event in Shibuya) from 26 countries and regions.
Last year, approximately 280 International buyers participated in 19th TIMM (online) from 37 countries and regions.
・This year in addition to TIMM friendly buyers, we are focusing on the invitation of agents who are supporting the activities of Japanese artists in overseas and the industry experts who are influenced on global marketing such as curator, influencer, playlister etc.
・The application measure of International buyer will be announced at a later date.
20th TIMM will completely shift to being held at the venue.
Therefore, the function of TIMM ONLINE will be limited to the archive streaming of business seminars and showcase live. Details will be announced at a later date.
